The board of appeals or the housing advisory and appeals board shall not be empowered to waive requirements of these codes cited in Section 17.08.010.

The Uniform Building Code "Board of Appeals" established by Ordinance No. 651/52 N.C.S. shall hereafter also be known as the "housing advisory and appeals board", this board being required by the Uniform Housing Code. (Ord. 1976 NCS §9, 1995; Ord. 651 NCS §1; prior code §2.87.)
