The building board of appeals shall hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the building official relative to the application and interpretations of the Uniform Building Code, the National Electrical Code, the Uniform Plumbing Code, the Uniform Mechanical Code, and Uniform Housing Code, as presently adopted by the city and as such codes may be amended.

All such determinations shall be for purposes of clarification and shall be of uniform application throughout the city and shall not operate to create an exception from any ordinance or state law. (Ord. 1976 NCS §5, 1995; Ord. 651 NCS §1; prior code §2.81.)
