Approval or disapproval of the tentative parcel map by the planning director and city engineer must be made within the time limits contained in Government Code Section 65920 et seq. Any appeal of the decision of the planning director and city engineer by the applicant shall take place after approval or denial; within such time allowed for an appeal; and shall not be included in the computation of the time limits prescribed by Government Code 65920 et seq.
