A. The application for a livestock permit shall be made on a form prescribed by the animal control officer and shall include the following information:

1. The name(s) and address(es) of the owner(s) of the livestock;

2. The maximum number and kinds of livestock to be maintained;

3. The location and facilities where the livestock will be kept;

4. Whether any previous livestock permit held by the applicant or a co-owner has been revoked or suspended by the city;

5. Such further information as the animal control officer may require to determine whether to grant or deny the permit pursuant to Section 9.12.030.

B. The application shall be transmitted to the director of community development and planning to determine whether the proposed used of property is in compliance with the Petaluma zoning ordinance.

C. The animal control officer may conduct an inspection of the property where the livestock will be maintained prior to granting the permit.
