It is unlawful for any person to provide emergency ambulance services within city contrary to the provisions of this chapter. Any such person violating or causing the violation of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars for each day of violation, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or both.
