Whenever any words or phrases used in this title are not defined in this chapter; but are defined in the Subdivision Map Act of the Business and Professions Code of the state of California; or in the zoning ordinance of the city; such definitions are incorporated in this chapter; and apply as though set forth in this chapter in full, unless the context clearly indicates a contrary intention.
