17.34.020 Applicability.
This section is included in your selections.
The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all existing buildings having at least one unreinforced wall as defined herein. Structural characteristics to be addressed are parapet stability; wall anchors (roof and floor systems); shear anchors (corners) and external hazards.
Exceptions: This chapter shall not apply to the following:
A. Single-Family Detached dwellings.
B. Detached apartment houses containing less than five dwelling units which are used solely for residential purposes.
