All backfilling of excavations and restoration of base, pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, landscaping, etc., shall be done and completed by the permittee under the inspection of the public works director or his/her authorized representative and in compliance with the city’s detailed specifications and general provisions for public works and any special provisions that may be indicated on the permit.
