A. Description. Marquee Signs: This sign type is a vertical sign that is located either along the face where they project perpendicular to the facade; or at the corner of the building where they project at 45 degree angle. Marquee signs often extend beyond the parapet of the building, but may also terminate below the cornice or eave. Marquee signs often have neon lettering used in conjunction with painted lettering.
